Primer is a Chrome extension that gives you sourced company briefs when you highlight a business name on the web. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

Lookup information (only when you request a brief)

When you click the Primer toolbar icon or choose Look up with Primer on highlighted text, we collect from the active page:

How we use your information

We use your information solely to authenticate you, generate cited company briefs you request, enforce usage limits, cache briefs for reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

If you use Google Sign-In, Google's privacy policy governs what Google shares with us (typically your email and basic profile information).

Children's privacy

Primer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us to request deletion if you believe a child has provided us data.

International users

Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global network. Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the Last updated date and, where appropriate, through the extension or our website.
